Rithy Nouch was a son of farmers family.His father's name NOUCH RIENG and mother's name SAM SANG. he have been four siblings. he was a youngest of his family.he was born 07-24-1975 in Buntey village, Buntey Commune, Omul District, Preak Russey Province, Kampuchia Krom (south vietname). When he was eight years old, He attended at Kilolakbay primary school (vietnamese's school) in that village.
Until 16 years of ages in 1990 He became a Buddhist Monk (novice) in Sattudo Temple at Buntey Commune,Omul District,Russey Province, Kampuchia Krom, the period of being novice, He learned both Khmer and Dhharma (buddhist's theory)and shortly after,He can read and write Khmer language.
Two years later in 1992, He attended at Pili-Language school (buddhist Primary school) at the same place.
by 1993 he decided to leave his hometown to Cambodia to continue his study there. but,Unfortunately,when he arrived at the border between Vietname and Cambodia the vietnamese authority didn't permit him to go there. in the same time, He was very upset so he had to come back to his hometown and then he changed from monkhood to the lay people. Next, in the late 1993. he went to Cambodia again as a second time.
by early-1994 he arrived at Phnom Penh,Cambodia, He lived in Angpothinhean Temple,it was a small and camb monestery that was in a suburb of Phnom Penh. there were only four monks lived there and all monks friendly but some neightborhoods were not safe they like to fight each others and some were good neightbors.in the same year he became a buddhist monk again (as position of Priest)Teacher who gives him to be a monkhood, His name is Los Lay patreach in the Angpothinhean Temple,Russy village, Stung Meanchey District, Meanchey county, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
by 1994 He went to Samrong Andeth Pagoda to continue studying Pili language until 1998 and then he studied in Soramrith buddhist heigh school he finished heigh school in 2001 and he continued taking Bachelor Degree of Computer science at Cambodian University for Specialties (CUS)in Phnom Penh. he graduated in 2005 and won dv-lottery to lived and worked in United States of America in 2005 too and he has been to USA on 04-04-06. now he plan to earn Master Degree at Uinited States soon.
Nouch Rithy got married on 14-03-2006 to Mss Hor Kunthea at Phom Russey, Stung Meanchey District, Phnom Penh Cambodia
